Who we are
About Econsphere
Welcome to Econsphere, a student-led journal with writers from sixth-form to Oxbridge committed to making economics accessible and easy to understand for all readers. Our goal is to bridge the gap between more advanced economic theories and everyday understanding, presenting complex ideas in a friendly and digestible way.
Insight available to all
We believe wide-ranging economic insights should be available to everyone. We translate our writers' research into engaging, understandable content, whether you are an aspiring economist, a professional in the field, or simply someone interested in economics.
Theory, made readable
A diverse range of articles, from in-depth analyses of economic issues to simplified explanations of complex theories. Each piece is crafted by passionate students, making high-level economic discourse approachable for readers of all backgrounds.
Student voices, in print
Our founders, Andre Ugalde Tchinov and Abishan Raj-Kumar, wanted a platform where students could share their insights in economics. They recognised the lack of opportunities for students to voice their perspectives, and built a space that enhances student representation in the field.
